500g lewż pur midħun Lamb Brand

500g zokkor Demerara Lamb Brand

150g dqiq plain Lamb Brand Auntie’s Mix

Essenza tal-vanilla

1 jew 2 imgħaref tal-kokotina

Meraq u qoxra ta’ lumija

Qoxra maħkuka ta’ larinġa

Qoxra maħkuka ta’ mandolina

3 imgħaref aniżetta

2 imgħaref ilma zahar (jekk trid)

4 jew 5 abjad tal-bajd jew ilma

Nofs kuċċarina trab tal-kannella

Kuċċarina mixed spice Lamb Brand

Għasel u lewż inkaljat u mqatta’ (għall-wiċċ)

METODU:

Poġġi l-ingredjenti kollha, barra l-abjad tal-bajd, l-għasel u lewż imqatta’ f’bieqja jew skutella kbira u ħallat kollox.

Ħabbat ħafif l-abjad tal-bajd u bil-mod żid mat-taħlita biex tifforma “pasta”. Fuq pjanċa jew landa ċatta poġġi karti tal-ostji (rice paper) jew idlek il-pjanċa bil-butir u roxx ftit dqiq. Ifforma biċċiet mit-taħlita forma ta’ sigarri ħoxnin u poġġi fuq il-pjanċa jew landa mhux viċin xulxin.

Iċċatjalhom fuq, ħallihom daqsxejn ħoxnin.

Aħmi ġo forn li tkun diġa saħħant: 350ºF / 180ºC jew Gas Mark 4 għal 20 jew 25 minuta: mhux iżjed.

Oħroġ mill-forn u idlek bl-għasel. Roxx il-lewż. Ħallihom jiksħu fuq wire rack.

Nota: jekk tuża ilma minflok abjad tal-bajd, żid l-ilma bil-mod sakemm tifforma pasta. Jekk trid, tista’ tnaqqas miz-zokkor, pero tagħmilx inqas minn 300g.

  1. I have tried these and they came out good. Though I would suggest that water blossom water (ilma zghar) is used 1 tablespoon as the flavour with 2 tbsp turned out to be very strong. One the whole they are very good
